4 Sessions Wheel Throwing Class | 07/07/24 - 28/07/24 | Sunday | 5:45pm - 8:45pm.
Our 4 Sessions Wheel Throwing Class is designed to give you a taster of throwing on the potter's wheel, trimming, turning & fine-tuning your thrown forms, all the way to the final stage of glazing your pieces.
We focus strongly on core techniques and, during this course, will take you through the complete process of working with clay.

Set in an informal setting at our South London studio (CR2 9DW), this class is suitable for complete beginners as well as those with some previous pottery experience.
* WHERE WILL MY CLASS TAKE PLACE:
Your class will take place at our South London studio in Sanderstead (South Croydon, Surrey CR2 9DW). We will send you the full address upon confirmation of your booking.
Our classes are unhurried and fun. At the end of the session, you'll get to create your own masterpieces to keep (we'll fire your work, ready for collection approximately within eight weeks).
* WHAT ARE THE DATES AND TIMES FOR

Your class sessions will start at 5:45pm - 8:45pm on the following days/dates:
- Sunday 07/07/2024
- Sunday 14/07/2024
- Sunday 21/07/2024
- Sunday 28/07/2024
* HOW MANY STUDENTS ARE IN MY CLASS:
We accept a maximum of ONLY two students per class; so you will benefit from a one-to-one attention of a private session, or share an enjoyable experience if you book with a friend!
* IS THIS CLASS SUITABLE FOR CHILDREN:
This class is NOT suitable for children; Classes are for over 16s only.
* WHAT’S INCLUDED IN MY CLASS FEE:
The price includes all tools, clay, materials and firings. We provide aprons but please don't wear your Sunday best to class - working with clay can get very messy!
* WHAT TO BRING TO CLASS:
Just your good self with plenty of creative, positive energies as everything else will be provided. An apple for your tutor is optional :-)
We require that all long hair be tied back during class sessions.
Please be aware that having long fingernails WILL SEVERELY RESTRICT your ability to throw, so we STRONGLY recommend that you come to class with short, trimmed nails.
* DO I GET TO KEEP MY WORK:
Absolutely!! We'll fire your work, ready for collection approximately within eight weeks.
* CAN I CANCEL & GET A REFUND:
We DO NOT offer a refund on cancellations of bookings. However, if you let us know 21 working days before your class start date, we may be able to offer you an alternative date(s). In the event that we cannot offer you an alternative date(s) upon receiving your 21-day notification for cancellation, no refunds will be issued.
You are welcome to pass on your bookings to your friends and family.
PLEASE TAKE NOTE:
- Classes are for over 16s only.
- Please be aware that having long fingernails WILL SEVERELY RESTRICT your ability to throw, so we STRONGLY recommend that you come to class with short, trimmed nails.
- Only 4 finished items/pieces will be fired and glazed for free as part of your class fees. If you wish for us to fire additional work that you have made during your class, this will be charged at £5 per kilo of clay used.
